Lucky Boy Farms has been breeding Grulla horses for ten years. We specialize in optimum pedigrees, with emphasis on cutting and reining then breed for great conformation, good bone and exceptional color. We like a horse with good width and great muscle.

We are the home of Watts Doc Breeze, a black gene dominate silver grulla stallion that is also homozygous for the dun gene. We have a color guarantee on this stallion as he always throws grulla or dun color. He stands 15 hands tall and is 1300 lbs. He has a great build and throws it on his colts. He has a wide set chest and exceptional hip. He has great athletic ability. His sire was not shown in competition, but his sire's full brother was IBHA Reserve World Champion in reining. His sire comes from a long line of World Champions and World Champion producers. His dam is by an NCHA money earner and NCHA producer that was by Doc Zimfandel. Doc Zimfandel was a World Champion in cutting and a multiple World Champion producer by the great Doc Bar. Watts Doc Breeze is 84% foundation and has all the black points of the dun gene that includes zebra striping on the legs and dark shoulder patches. He puts these great markings on all his colts too.
